Invisalign invisibly straightens your teeth with a series of custom-molded aligners.
|

|
|
Forget
everything you’ve heard about teeth straightening. Because now there’s
breakthrough technology that lets you get the smile you always wanted
without bands, brackets or wires.
|
|
|
A clear alternative:
By using a series of clear removable aligners, Invisalign straightens
your teeth right before your eyes. Change them about every 2 weeks,
your teeth will move—little by little, week by week—until they have
moved to the final position your orthodontist or dentist has prescribed.
|
 |
 |
Less treatment time:
A typical Invisalign case takes about a year from start to finish.
You’ll see your doctor every 6-8 weeks to see how you’re progressing.
Every few visits you’ll be given additional aligners to continue your
treatment. Commonly, the number of aligners worn during treatment is
between 18 and 30, but treatment time and number of aligners will vary
from case to case.
|
|
|
Invisible, And comfortable:
Invisalign is an invisible solution. So you won’t draw undue attention
to your mouth while in treatment. In fact, virtually no one will know
you’re wearing them unless you tell. Comfortable to wear, our aligners
are also removable so you can eat, drink, brush, and floss as usual.
Hundreds of thousands of people have already perfected their smile.
Maybe it’s time you were one of them.

Benefits of Invisalign:
|
|
Invisalign® has both aesthetic and hygienic benefits.Teeth
that are crowded or are spaced too far apart may cause such problems as
swollen gums, redness or pocketing. All of these are signs of
periodontal disease. Invisalign straightens teeth, which can contribute
to a healthier smile. Straighter teeth can lead to:
|
|
Healthier Gums:
Clinical studies have shown that gum health may improve with the use of
Invisalign during orthodontic treatment¹. Properly aligned teeth can
help gums “fit” tighter around them², which may lead to better
periodontal health. With Invisalign, you can brush and floss normally,
which can help prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease.
|
|
Easier Cleanings:
There are no brackets or wires to clean around as with traditional
orthodontics. With maintenance of good oral hygiene, the chances of
having plaque retention, tooth decay, and periodontal disease can be
reduced.
|
|
Improved Chewing and Speech:
In some instances, speech problems may result from poorly positioned
teeth and jaws. Correction of your bite can help improve chewing and
speech.
|
|
Decreased Risk of Trauma and Abnormal Wear: Properly aligned teeth can be less stressful on the supporting bone and jaw joints.

How Do I Get Started?
Getting started with
treatment couldn't be easier. In fact, you can be on your way to
straighter teeth and a beautiful smile within weeks of visiting your
dentist.
 |
Step 1: Visit Your Dentist
During this first step you will need to make an
appointment with an Invisalign® Certified
Dentist.
During the initial visit, your dentist will help you decide
on your course of treatment. He will take bite impressions of your teeth and
send them, along with a set of precise instructions, to Invisalign®
|
 |
Step 2: Invisalign®
Makes Your Aligners
Invisalign® uses advanced 3-D computer imaging
technology to transform your bite impressions into a custom-made series of
clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as
few as 12, depending on your individual treatment plan.
|
 |
Step 3: You Receive Your Aligners
in a Few Weeks
During your next visit to your dentist, you will receive
your first set aligners. Your dentist will most likely give you a few
additional sets for you to wear before you return for your next visit.
|
 |
Step 4: You Wear Your Aligners
You'll wear each set of aligners day and night for about 2
weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Total treatment time
averages 9-15 months, but will vary from case to case. You'll visit your
dentist only about every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing
as planned.
|
 |
Step 5: You've Finished the Treatment
Congratulations! When you're finished wearing each aligner
in the series, your treatment will be complete and you will have the beautiful
smile you've always wanted.
